Kind acts

Yesterday, went out with U friends to celebrate birthday hehe. Big treats to buffet, Yayay? I kinda like the buffet, it has rojak stall [a little too salty], self customised ice kacang [aw was too full to finish up xD], small egg tarts with a rasin [MY FAV], lot of crayfish [too full and only see this too late! ><] .... hmm I can't rmb what else. It was nonya style, Asian International. 1Market. ^^ Google it up. Somehow, hehe those 3 above just sold me away, I like the buffet, while my friends thought it wasn't value for money and ain't that good.

Oh well, back to the story of kind acts. I set out early to get christmas present, and somehow it chose to rain big. The mini bus-stop nearly drenched me. My legs were cold, but lucky I wore my warm wool sweater. I saw this lady in white running in the rain under her umbrella towards the busstop. Finally she reached and she opened her umbrella, held it horizontally to block the rain at the busstop. Unknowingly rain hit me lesser, and somehow or rather, I believe she took to shielding me too while she was shielding herself at the same time. Was it a deliberate act? Or? I didn't think much but was just glad to be drenched lesser.

Shortly the bus arrived. This time, there were only 3 of us at the busstop. The bus door closest to the lady in white. I was prepared, to run and shoot up the bus steps to get lesser rain on me. Ready...1..2.. Just then, this lady paused at the bus door, held out her umbrella and gestured for me to go first, then to the other guy beside.

I was touched by her small act and it left me thinking the whole day how guilty I was for never trying to consider for others. In our daily hectic lifestyle, many of us forgot about others right beside them. We were just always on our ways, thinking for ourselves, ourselves, and ourselves. Yeah, maybe our kind acts were only offered to friends and closest people. Yesterday I met an extraordinary person, who extended her helpful hand and umbrella to us strangers at the busstop, and shielded us from rain. I can't help to keep looking at her and trying to remember her.

Got my wish...somewhat?

Lol, well today is my birthday. I took the liberty of asking for a wish from God. Hehe, I don't know if it worked or not, somehow I believed it did.

Asked for harmony between my parents, at least for now, ehh stop the cold war. So what happened today was...

Dad got a toothache biting him since idkwhen. He got it extracted today. The ache was killing him, so he took a painkiller from his first-time-dental-clinic. Yeah, then he got allergic to the medicine. It was just a "small" reaction, like...puffy swollen eyes. Lol, finally out of concern hehe, mom and dad woohoo are talking again :D

WEEEE...this makes me happy! Hehe but do wish, dad didn't had that allergy reaction, hehe but yay :D Thanks God, for granting little eeny weeny wish. <3

Stay healthy everyone!

Lol, so because our 4D number didn't open, our fengshui sucks, so we need to shift until the place is entirely squeezy and weird to get back the so-called good fengshui, so as to win the 4D.

Sigh. The previous layout was much more spacey. The cupboard and shoe cabinet all line up against the way just beside the big door. Here comes Mr FengShui [my dad in fact], lol, who thinks we gonna get better money luck with shifting the cupboard and cabinet right up back to beside my sis desk. Well it didn't affect me much, but lol, now they are thinking to move her cupboard into our room. Hey, theres totally no space ok?

NOW. I really don't believe in fengshui, and this made me really....no mood for the day, shift here and there. Back to this squeezy kinda feeling. And I have to be blocked by 2 cabinets when I switch on or off the lights. Sheesh.

I rather we believe in our capability to bring fortune to ourselves, than letting furniture decides our money fortune.

[psst, dad, you know you just have to splurge less, and depend less on 4D, you would have more money than now ;p]

Okies, the setup of it got me a headache and resulted in quite a long while of procrastination. ;X Yeah, I can't find myself motivated to do stuff. Maybe I need to stop psyching myself that I can't work it out and stop watching Heroes.

Oh I haven't mentioned! Latest drama obsession! Heroes! Whereby there exist this bunch of people with supernatural powers/abilities. Mystery (?) and thriller genre. Oh well, it is scary enough for me but its awesomely made! For the first season I heard. :) Go check it out! Something new to break free from the korean dramas and stuff :D.

Meanwhile I think I wanna stop gaming for a bit. Feeling even all the more detached from game itself, I can't even find what a person I am. x_x. Maybe talking to myself works better, like now - blogging.

Just some rants

Tired out..procrastinating from project. In fact, my FYP supervisor is like super duper nice, as compared to the ones I'd heard from my friends. :x? Sometimes, I just think I am much more luckier in certain ways :)

Hehe, but oh well, if your supervisor sucks, don't keep going on that he/she doesn't help you much and blah blah, I guess just stay optimistic, complain lesser and ya will feel much better with that? [In fact, my friends whines a lot, I am thinking they are exaggerating too much sometimes, except for a 1-2 of them] Maybe he/she turns out as an angel in disguise? xD! Good luck to you!

Well, get back to work!

I am feeling stress on the days, before a Thursday. :(?

Quite a little scared of the day itself, that I might have to disappoint my really nice supervisor x_x.

Frank William Abagnale Jr.

Ok, I thought I would give up blogger since I couldn't figure out how to set the Labels on the link. Looks like  you will need to explore the internal html and do some editings. ;( But anyways, don't got much time for that!

Right now trying to dedicate my time to Final Year Project [fyp]. Lol, looks like I picked a toughie. Maybe ain't that toughie, I just haven't quite figure out how to work that. Meanwhile, I had just finished the movie: "Catch me if you can".

This story is based on a real figure, as titled today's post: Frank William Abagnale Jr. Will just call him Frank for short. He was in a happy family until his father's business ran into some trouble and unable to tide over. His parents eventually divorced which is when he ran away and later dabbled in cheque fraud.

Following the flow of the movie, I liked how it step by step showed that Frank, has much confidence and charisma that he could actually bluff his way. From when he changed to the new school, entered as a student and assumed the position of a french substitute teacher. Lol! He has got talent. He took on bigger lies, to a fake pilot, fake doctor, fake lawyer haha! I ain't such a good reviewer, so just go on and watch it if you hadn't.

Serious, I am in awe of such a person. Me, I can't hope for enough charisma and confidence which I found I've always lacked. Yeah reason it away that I could train with time. But, just gimme an ounce of confidence and I will be satisfied.
